Why Use Carbon Fibre Battens?

All Battens Online products are made from standard modulus carbon fibre and epoxy resin matrix to ensure the highest level of toughness and reliability. This composition reduces the likelihood of breakage both on and off the race course, and also offers great weight saving. In fact our carbon fibre battens are up to 60% lighter than a fibreglass rectangular variety. This decrease in weight up high is particularly important, offering greater sideways stability by lowering the centre of gravity.
